Kenda KV(R) Series Vertical Slurry Pumps

This series are vertical, centrifugal slurry pumps, designed for handling abrasive and corrosive slurries whilst submerged in sumps or pit. The pump has no shaft seal, easy to maintenance and cost less. Hard metal and rubber parts are optional for different applications and interchangeable. Suit for most applications where slurry pumps are needed.

Features
Pump- vertical cantilever, single casing, single suction sump pump
Impeller- half open impeller design, materials are high chrome alloy or natural rubber, anti-abrasive, wear resistant and corrosion resistance. The gap between impeller and the frame plate can be adjusted to ensure the efficient operation of the pump.
Bearing assembly- barrel bearing assembly, high capacity bearing design, and bearing adopts grease lubrication.
Shaft seal- no shaft seal.
Drive arrangements - direct drive, V-belt drive.

Kenda Veritical Slurry Pump Application

Application

-- Mining Industry

Ore Dressing:Transport mineral slurry (e.g., iron, copper, gold ores) from grinding mills to classifiers, thickeners or filters during processing.

Tailings DisposalTransfer concentrated tailings slurry (with sand/slag particles) to tailings ponds or reprocessing systems, requiring wear-resistant pumps.

Coal WashingConvey coal slurry and slag in coal slime water treatment systems for slime recovery in coal washeries.

 -- Power Industry

Thermal Power GenerationTransport ash slurry (fly ash/slag mixture) from boiler houses to ash yards or desulfurization systems, resisting abrasive ash particles.

FGD SystemsConvey limestone slurry or gypsum slurry in wet desulfurization processes, requiring pumps resistant to acid-base corrosion and particle wear.

 -- Metallurgy Industry

Steel PlantsTransfer blast furnace slag slurry, rolling wastewater (with iron scale/sediment), and steel slag slurry for efficient waste disposal.

Nonferrous Metal SmeltingTransport mineral slurry, electrolyte waste, or by-product slurries (e.g., bauxite slurry after grinding) in aluminum, zinc, lead smelting.

 --Chemical & Environmental Protection

Chemical ProcessesConvey abrasive chemical slurries (e.g., phosphate ore slurry in fertilizer production, dye suspensions), requiring corrosion & wear resistance.

Wastewater TreatmentTransfer sewage with sediment, fibers, or solids, especially sludge (primary/activated sludge) in wastewater treatment plants.

 -- Construction & Water Conservancy

River DredgingRemove sediment from rivers/lakes and transport slurry for land reclamation or soil improvement.

ConstructionConvey concrete aggregate slurry, construction mud (e.g., bored pile slurry), or crushed construction waste slurry.

 -- Other Fields

Ceramics IndustryTransport ceramic raw material slurry (kaolin/quartz sand mixture) for semifinished materials preparation.

Food Processing (Special Cases)Transfer food waste slurry (e.g., starch/sugar mill residues) using food-grade wear-resistant pumps.
